At EUEI, we believe that Artificial Intelligence (AI) should not only be powerful—it should also be responsible, transparent, and accessible. That’s why we’re proud to be a partner in AI Leaders, an Erasmus+ project designed to equip the next generation of business professionals with the skills and values they need to lead in an AI-driven world.
AI Leaders focuses on integrating both the applied and ethical dimensions of AI into business and management education. As AI tools become increasingly embedded in everyday business operations—from marketing automation to decision support—there’s a growing demand for graduates who understand how to use these tools effectively and responsibly.
What is AI Leaders?
AI Leaders is a transnational project that brings together universities, digital learning experts, and innovation specialists from across Europe. Our goal is to improve AI education for business and management students at higher education institutions, while building capacity among lecturers and institutions to deliver forward-thinking, ethical content.
The project supports educators in teaching:
-
How AI works in real-world business environments
-
The ethical challenges AI presents, including bias, transparency, and privacy
-
The practical skills students need to critically assess and apply AI in business contexts
What Are We Creating?
To support this transformation, AI Leaders is developing a range of innovative teaching and learning resources, including:
-
Responsible AI Case Studies & Introductory Toolkit – A comprehensive package of case studies, teaching tools, and guidelines to help lecturers embed AI in their teaching
-
Teaching & Learning Materials – Tailored content to support both in-person and online instruction in AI-related topics
-
AI in Business Management Hackathons – Hands-on, challenge-based learning experiences that allow students to explore AI in action
-
Dissemination and Sustainability Tools – Strategies and resources to help institutions adopt, adapt, and extend project results
At EUEI, our main role is to support the development of the digital learning tools and user experience, ensuring the platform and materials are intuitive, inclusive, and accessible to all. We also contribute to outreach, sustainability, and impact planning to ensure long-term use of project outcomes.
Why Now?
With the EU AI Act set to begin implementation in 2025, the need for ethical, well-informed AI education is more urgent than ever. The AI Leaders project responds directly to this by helping educators and students navigate the fast-changing world of AI in business, ensuring that European values remain at the heart of innovation.
